'Versatile and colourful chairs for a variety of occasions, inside or outside.’
Versatility - we designed this range for comfort, adaptable for varied materials, and also different interior and exterior styles. In addition to that, we tried hard to produce them at a reasonable price.
MARK is based in Cornwall, aiming to revive their local industries. The launch of Verso chair was celebrated by the ‘INPUT’ exhibition at Coexistence ( 16 March - 3 April 2012 ), showing the development process of design and production.

英国南部コーンウォール地方の産業を守り、持続可能な地域社会を支えるために始まったMARKのためにデザインしました。限られた工法で作れるよう工夫すること、できるだけ抑えた価格にするために、地域の工房にある加工道具をリサーチすることがデザインの出発でした。
座り心地の良さはもちろん、室内と屋外の多様なインテリアに対応でき、空間のデザインに沿った色に少量からオーダーできるシステムをデザインしました。
