Recalling an impression of Winter Forest, when low sun is reaching you through layers of twiggs. Pattern cut and rolled Peach Coat ( a product from Takeo, Japan ) layers create delicate pattern on its own, at the same time, shadown of the shade is projected on ceiling and wall.
At the moment (August 2008) this product is made and sold in Japan only, by Maxray. We are looking for collaborative firm from Europe, who is interested in licensing this product for European market. Please contact t.n.a. Design Studio in the case.
「木漏れ日の射す冬の森を歩いた印象を照明器具に留めて家に持ち帰り、身近に使いたい。」という思いを商品にした。シェードには竹尾の「ピーチコート」を用い、電球の光が3重に巻かれた外側のレイヤーに小枝の影を落とす。壁や天井などにも、枝を通って届いた光のパターンを映し出す。
