t.n.a. Design Studio is showing a range of works realised since the studio opened in 2005. Rocket Gallery: an art, graphic, and vintage & contemporary furniture gallery in East London is hosting this very first gallery exhibition of the studio.
2005年に活動を開始して以来の「t.n.a. Design Studio」の作品を集めた、初めてのギャラリー展示を行います。主催するRocket Galleryは、アートやグラフィック、ヴィンテージ家具とコンテンポラリー・デザインを扱う東ロンドンのギャラリーです。
Around 20 designs and over 50 items are on show, including a new dining table which is a Benchmark/Rocket co-production. The development process of this piece including drawings, paper models and test joints will be on display.
Other pieces on show include 'Large Hexad' table, also for Benchmark/Rocket, a range of jewellery 'Twirl' for Biegel (Germany), 'Arc' chair for Zilio A&C (Italy), 'AT-AT' writing bureau for Röthlisberger (Switzerland), 'Spin' table for Mark (UK), 'Twiggy' lamp for Maxray (Japan) and more. A number of them are shown for the first time in UK.
今回の展示ではおもに2005年以降の作品を集め、BenchmarkとRocket Galleryの共同プロデュースの新作のダイニング・テーブルを中心に、ドローイングや紙モデル、木製の試作など開発途上のプロセスも展示します。
他の展示作品はBiegel（ドイツ）のための新作ジュエリー「Twirl」、Zilio（イタリア）から今年のサローネで発表したダイニングチェアーの「Arc」、Röthlisberger（スイス）のためのライティング・ビューロー「AT-AT」、マックスレイ（日本）から販売されている照明器具「Twiggy Lamp」など、総数は50点ほどになる予定です。
また、この展示のプレビューと安積朋子のインタビューが9月16日に発売になるMonocle Magazineの10月号に掲載されます。
