The Birds, Bats and Bees` auction was successful and our pieces fetched a significant sum to support activities of Adventure Ecology.  Good!

チャリティーオークションは成功のうちに終わり、わたしたちのスタジオもAdventure Ecologyの活動基金に貢献したようです。そして、ネット上ではイメージがあちこちで「見つけられて」います。おもしろい現象ですね。

The viewing of a charity auction named  'The Birds, Bats and Bees' is opened at Phillips de Pury in their London gallery on 21 June 2008. 24 designers contributed for this exhibition, using waste materials to creates houses for wild lives.  Auction day is on the evening of 27 June 2008 and more details are featured in dezeen. 

オークションハウスのプィリップス・ドゥ・ピューリ、ロンドンにて21日から始まった「The Birds, Bat and Bees」というチャリーティーオークションの展示会にてリサイクル素材で作ったバーズハウスとビーハウス(蜂の家)を展示しています。オークションは6月27日(金)。詳細はこちらのウェブサイトにて。

This show is held togerher with Adventure Ecology, Arts Co and Phillips de Pury.

この展示会は、プィリップス・ドゥ・ピューリとコーディネーターのArts Co、そしてチャリティー団体のAdventure Ecologyの3者によって企画、開催されました。参加デザイナーはマイケル・ヤング、ポール・スミスなど総勢24名。

A few days before the Summer Solstice, our current internship Helena made us Swedish Summer Lunch.  It was not hot enough to do our lunch outside, but we enjoyed flavour of summer with Potatoes, Dill & Cod roe topped Eggs, Swedish crackers and marinated Herrings in three different types of sauce.  Ummm, yammy.

もう少しで夏至、ということで、インターンのヘレナが彼女の故郷のスゥエーデンのサマー・ランチを作ってくれました。スゥエーデンのパンやクラッカーに、たらこマヨネーズみたいなチューブ入のディップとディルで飾り付けた卵、3種類のマリネで漬け込まれたニシンなどを載せて。ポテトのサラダにチャイブスの入ったサワークリームを添えたものも定番のようです。おいしかった。

A spatial installation, 'Remains of The Light', will open at Sfera in Kyoto on 18 May 2008.  The exhibition is opened until 24 June 2008.  The show contains lighting proucts released from Maxray (Japan), as well as prototype of a new product 'Glow Lamp', together with paper installation materials provided by Takeo.

京都のスフェラビル2FのSferaExhibitionにて、6月24日まで『Remains of The Light』展が開催されています。これは、昨年秋にDesignTideにて照明のマックスレイと紙の竹尾の協賛で展示をしたインスタレーションを発展させたもので、共同開発により商品化された照明器具2種と、さらに新作『Glow Lamp』のプロトタイプを展示しています。

At Tokyo Mid-Town, an exhibition named '1 - Design For The Next' is still open, until 11 May 2008. 

We are exhibiting process photo of TRA coat stand and paper model of Ro-Ro rocking chair for Zilio A&C, both were launched at Milan Furniture Fair last month.

東京ミッドタウン5Fのテサインハブで「1 - Design For The Next展」が開催されています。会期は5月11日(日)まで。

日本産業デザイン振興会と日本グラフィックデザイナー協会、九州大学の共催のこの展示会で、「未来へのファースト・ステップ」というテーマのもと、先月ミ ラノで展示したZilio A&Cのための作品、Ro-Roロッキングチェアーの紙模型とTRAコートスタンドの開発プロセスの写真を展示しています。
