We are leading a week long workshop from 25 July, at Vitra Design Museum Workshops in France.  Our workshop theme is 'The Secret Life of Plants' and we will closely look at trees and plants, to be inspired by them and create an object in response to them.  Inspirational sources could be microscopic structures or cycle of life of a plant - the fruits of the workshop could lead to the structure of a bridge or perhaps a piece of jewellery.

7月25日より、ヴィトラ・デザイン・ミュージアムの主催するワークショップで「The Secret Life of Plants」と題した一週間のワークショップをやります。植物をミクロやマクロの視野から観察、考察してその神秘に近づき、そこからインスピレーションをもらって「発見」を形にしてみよう、というテーマです。成果物は橋の構造かもしれないし、身に付けるアクセサリーになるかもしれない、、、それは参加者の興味やバックグラウンドにゆだねようと思っています。

This summer is our third workshop at Boisbuchet and we think it is a fantastic environment to talk and think about design, also meeting with people from all over the world.  It seems there are just a few places still available and in case you know anyone who might be interested in, please forward this message.

A book on a project of the Supreme Court of United Kingdom was launched recently.  Together with the history of the building and renovation program, the furniture we designed is featured.

昨年の10月に完成した英国の最高裁判所のプロジェクトが本になり、わたしたちが手がけた家具の写真も多数掲載されました。

Some parts of the building are open to the public and you can also view hearings in the new court rooms.  Information is on the Supreme Court web site, if you click 'Visiting The Court'.

最高裁判所の中は見学できます。審議の様子を見る事も可能です。見学の詳細は最高裁のHPの 'Visiting The Court' をご参照ください。

A newsletter from Mayor of London has arrived, annoucing the Cycling Revolution: London plan.  PDF file is on this page.  It seems they do it a little more serious than ever?? - let's exam and send him our feedbacks.

ロンドン市長のボリス・ジョンソンより送られたニュースレターで、『ロンドン自転車革命！』と銘打った改革のプランが発表されました。なんだか、もう少しはまじめに取り組もうと思っているのかもしれない、、、という気配。あまりにひどいロンドンの自転車事情が、少しでも向上する事を願って、市長に意見を送りましょう！

FLOE table, for Swarovski at Work exhibition in Triennale Milano, is now featured in following articles, for whom did not make to visit. It was a bit hectic getting back, but we are all back to studio by now.  Hope your troubles are all eased!
